YESSSSSSS!!!!!! I GOT A LINUX COMPUTER WORKING (or at least the gui) FOR THE FIRSTTIME EVER!!! YESS! WOOOOOOOO!!! YEah... ummmmm... yeah. Anyway, Mr. Thomas was giving away comps and I got one (and one for louie). And it works and it is good. The cool thing is how many drives it has:
1) 4 gig hd (not too good, but free computer)
2) A floppy
3) Another floppy
4) A regular CD-ROM
5) A CD-R
And of course it has all the nice bells and whistles of a good linux computer: An Ethernet card, 2 usb ports, 226mhz prossesor, and a pretty nice graphics and sound card. Yep and it's pretty frikin' awesome. The other cool thing is that today is the last day of normal school! WOOHOO! Monday is review day, then exams until thursday and I'm done! YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
You forgot about the half day on the following Monday. It's not a real day either, but it's still there.
I can't really follow any of the computer stats, so I'll just leave it at saying that free stuff is always good, and congrats on actually making it work.
