Later today, I will have pictures!

Well, later today for me anyway. For you guys it will be very early tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a "What time is it for Kit?!" Javascript application to keep you guys busy. Later, I'll make it so that it properly adjusts for whether or not daylight savings time is in effect (I added this feature).

Note: This script will stop working in the year 2038. Sorry, but it can't be helped.

Okay, NOW it works flawlessly... I think...
And as a side note for the curious, this application uses php to recieve the correct time, and if powweb ever expands it's servers to places that do not have DST, it will not properly adjust for DST (Daylight Savings Time) when you access the machine from that server.

Fascinating. Is the date at the top of your blog entries EST or based at the computer you're working on? It's very strange to look outside at the early afternoon sunshine and picture you fast asleep in Japan in the early morning blackness at the same time. The jet lag must have been incapacitating :/

See, now I just have to come back in roughly thirty-two and half years to verify that it really will fail.

As a heads up to Bio, it will only fail if you continue using a 32-bit computer. I imagine we will be using either 64 or 128 bit machines in roughly 31 years, in which case it won't matter one bit, and the script will continue to function.
