So if you haven't already heard, I'm going to Japan this summer. After filling out a huge number of forms and writing lots of essays and surviving an interview, I won a scholarship which pays for nearly all of my trip. So I'm going to Osaka where I will be spending six weeks. Honestly? I have no idea what to expect. Either way, I'm leaving tomorrow morning and I'll be back July 28th ish. During this time I may or may not have internet access. Even moreso than that I may not even have access to a computer. I hope I will be able to post on a daily (if not every-other day, or weekly) basis, but there are no guarantees. Wish me luck...

Posted by: Eric at June 11, 2005 03:31 PMAh, nothing like kanji to make me feel as if I learned nothing in Japanese class. Then again, I did pick up on the first sentence and it's unlikely the translator was particularly accurate.
Anyway, on to important matters. If it turns out you don't have internet access then it's likely you won't see this until you get back, but best of luck on your trip and I hope you have a great time. Looking forward to catching up and going to Otakon when you return and even more so to joining you on the trip with sensei next year.

The luck where the kit of your travelling is good. I desire the fact that the really pleasant one time is passed in Osaka. However, I must protest your selection of music. The selection which then really is unique. As for me there is no online translator who the thing cannot be said remains the fact that I have known the method of saying is desired.
